Under clause 2 of part two of article 13 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”, the people’s deputies of Ukraine, elected in the single mandate constituencies and registered as self-nominated candidates for the people’s deputies, shall delegate one representative out of 15 deputies to the composition of the Preparatory deputy group on organizing and holding plenary meetings of the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation. The written proposal regarding a representative, signed by not less than 15 people’s deputies, shall be referred to the Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine not later than five days after the official declaration of the results of elections by the Central Election Commission.
